there are some considerations you should take into consideration. Theoretically, having a look at one existing InfoPath form should be enough, but I understand there is a bunch of items to look at. Hello,

I am trying to upload and provide an InfoPath form to be filled out in the same way the Waste Collection and Claim forms are filled, for example. I created my web-enabled form and the additional entities in CRM so that I can see it in the Online Services section properly, but I cannot seem to get it to open in the web page. Are there any special considerations when deploying the form or enabling it to work with CSP?

Hello Adam,

if you look under the CSP.en-US folder you will find a Visual Studio solution file called csp.en-US.sln. This is the file you must open in order to make a new build of CSP using the english language. If you need to localize the solution into a new language you will need to refer to the localisation documentation. The solution you are opening into the root folder is there for compatibility purposes and can't be used to generate new csp builds as they woudn't be related to any language.

Hi,

I've downloaded the latest source and have had issues with the solution:

1. 2 projects are no longer in the location the solution expects them to be:
          * CSP.CRMConnector.Installer
          * CSP.Solution
   Both of these projects are now in the csp.en-US folder.

2. The project CSP.SimpleCMS.ConfigFileUploader is entirely missing from the source as far as i can see (what does this project do? Is it required?)

3. post and pre build events do not work because of the first issue above (projects have moved) and also do not work if the solution is sitting on path which contains spaces on the drive.

4. I'm still working through but I don't seem to currently be able to build a new .wsp - how is it supposed to work?

just for being bit more explícit.

You launched

arguments: -s http://mosscsp:5555 -o CSP -u CSP\cspintsite

As documentation explains, this call need arguments to be changed according to your set up so:

Is CSP the name of the organization unit created on CRM?

Is CSP the domain name of your set up?

Does CSP\cspintsite account actually exists?

Hello

It looks like there is some configuration issue in the connection to CRM. Authorization (401) errors when connecting to CRM happen mostly due to two reasons:

The CRM organization name is wrong
The user doesn't have the required privileges in CRM

I'm guessing here your problem is the first one, maybe the Organization name in CRM is not 'CSP' but something related to your customer.

My colleague and i are working on a project which need a localization of CSP in French.

After some times in VS 2008, the translation guide and the manifest/makecab file, i finish to have a full WSP that deploy with STSadm

But when i give the installer with the update WSP to my IT colleague, he's got a bad issue during installation with the installer

Hello Martin,

yes, the problem is related to the fact that you are installing over MOSS 2007 Spanish. One of the main pieces of a Site Definition (CSPINTERNETCONTAINER is one of them) is the webtemp file. This webtemp file is located in a locale dependant folder so, if you try to create a Site Collection using spanish language the system is going to look for a file into a folder with name 3082. The bits you are downloading here have been built only for english language (folder 1033). If you need to build something using a spanish installation of MOSS you may need to take a look at the localisation guide (also in the downloads section).

with a general message "An unexpected error has ocurred while executing the installation module", the summary show the

There is a problem if I install csp in the Spanish version of sharepoint?, i cannot understand what is the problem, any suggestions?

Hi Kriskop,

the localization guide allows you to localize just the CSP package and not the demo virtual machine. You should create your own set of demo data after installing the CSP packages in order to have a working virtual machine. Anyway, just to understand your question, is there anything you would like to create and you are not able to?

We have localized the CSP demo to norwegian by following the localisation guideline. The demoscript does contain a set of demodata, like the user djohnson.
How may we use those data in our localizated demo?

Hi,

Just want to let you know that I have finally managed to get the sample code installed to the latest CRM VPC. So I am really happy now! Thanks for your help.

In fact, I have attempted the installation a few times, most of the errors were related to NETWORK SERVICE account premission and DNS configuration issue. At the end, I used the Contoso\Administrator account for everything and created a new web-site with different port number, no host header for all. It worked well. Also, I waited for a few minutes before copy and paste the web config xml. The first time, I copied it too fast and the connectionstring was something like {0}, then I saw the connectionstring changed to CRM-SRV-01 after a few minutes. At first, I though I was a bit tried and did not read the instructions well. But the final installation instruction actually updated itself after a few minutes. The first piece of xml needs to be placed after the configsections or Sharepoint will error out, etc.

Yes, the machine is also a domain controller and I had EventID 10016 in the system log. The error message is "The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {GUID} to the user NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE SID (S-1-5-20). etc. Yes, it is using NETWORK SERVICE to run all the services. What other things I need to change for it to run on a 1 server demo?

you should look into the Sharepoint logs (12/LOGS) what is going on. Just one question, is this machine a Domain Controller? If so, you need to perform some operations to give the Network Service some user permissions. Is it your current situation?

Hi,

I have installed the CSP Citizen platform to the latest CRM VPC (April 2009) and the installation is completed. When browsing the new csp intranet sites, no web-parts are showing. When trying to create a new csp membership login, it seems could not get to the membership database. All sites created are using Network Services. Tried to look into eventlog, limited information. Any idea? Anyone have try to install and test the solution with the latest CRM VPC?

On the deployment guide, it asked me to add an existing domain user cspintsite to CRM database, I could not find it. so created 1, not sure what Domain previlleges does the user required. And is there anything else I need to do to enable this newly created user interacte with the CSP sites?

Thanks Daniel,

while running the automated isntall, I created this site at port 6000 for the CSP Crm Connector and given a Host header value of CRMConnector. I took the host header value out and fixed the Web.Config files with the server name. I was able to get pass the error message and now I have a new one. ( This is installed on a CRM Demo VPC image for partner that was released in April 2009.)

Any other good advice for me ?

It looks like some kind of name mismatch happened when installing the connector. I would check the following: do you actually have a machine named "crmconnector"? Is the service running in that port (6000)? Maybe you are trying to install CSP in more than one machine?

Good day !

I am trying to install the CSP portal on the latest Arpril 2009 MS partner image, that machins has SQL 2008 installed. Everyhing installed fine without errors, I have access to all the sites, except that I can't create a Citizen from the CSP external site. I get this CRM ingration below.

Has anyone had this problem ? Is there a solution ?

It looks as some of the customizations within the Workflow section are serialized in a binary format that escapes the "find and replace" approach. You can still safely open the entities (including workflows) and translate them to norwegian.

Hi,

I'm trying to do CRM Localization for Norway and I have followed these steps:

1. Downloaded xml files developed in English. (csp_customizations_01.xml, csp_customizations_01.xml, ...)
2. Changed every occurence of "1033" (English) to "1044" (Norway).
3. I then want to import these files into CRM so I can localize the files into Norwegian using CRM User Interface for customizations. The language of the CRM installation is Norwegian.
However I'm getting a warning when I'm importing the files:

"Warning: Translated labels for the following languages could not be imported because they have not been enabled for this organization: 1033"

I have replaced every 1033 with 1044, but still it gives me a warning of "..... 1033". Why?
The enities is still imported as I can view them under "Entities". But as I'm getting the warning I'dont know if I'm missing something, or should I just ignore the warning?
