Localization problem

Hi!

We've been trying to localize the CSP to spain but we are getting some problems. We'll be glad if you can help us.

First of all, the enviroment is:

  • Windows Server 2003 Enterprise R2 (Spanish)
  • SharePoint Server 2007 SP2 (Spanish)
  • Microsoft SQL 2005
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2008

We don't have the MS Dynamics CRM 4.0 but we took the .dlls that were on the compiled WSP downloadable, except the CKS.FormsBasedAuthentication.dll and the CKS.InternetExtranet.dll wich has been impossible to find.

After this, we try to compile the Solution without changing anything (except the location of the dll's) but there are some errors that we don't know how to solve.

  1. The command sn.exe -R and the xcopy fails in some paths.
  2. Could not find file EXEC in "C:\Documents"

We know, because it's in the discussion thread list, that we have to change some things to make the CSP work under a non-English SharePoint, but we think that this has nothing to do with compile the project under an Spanish Windows Server. Are we wrong?

It will be very useful for us if you can help with this.

Thanks in advance,

Pau

Hi Pau,

the problem you are facing can be related to the real path of the SN utility, can you check that, please? You will find the command on the post-build events of some of the projects in the solution. The best you can do is adding the real path to the environment variable %path% so Visual Studio finds it without problems.

Hi David,

I will check that and tell you how it ends.

Thanks,
