Getting hold of the CSP Image

You can download a copy of the CSP Image from the site www.microsoftpsdemos.com under the download tab. The image is split into a number of seperate files and totals 7GB+ in size. The Image has been timebombed, but with quite a long period before expiry (500 days).

Welcome to the CodePlex site for CSP. This project is designed to hold solution accelerators built upon the Microsoft platform using SharePoint, Dynamics CRM and the Windows Live platform that can be used to help show how Local and Regional Governments can meet the needs of their Citizens. For more information on the CSP project please have a look at http://www.microsoft.com/csp and http://www.citizenserviceplatform.com. This site is designed to hold the solution accelerators that we are distributing the source code for, allowing partners to collaborate and help with the development, or just feedback to use on bugs and issues. To see an online hosted demonstration of the solution accelerators below in action, and other Public Sector demonstrations please use the http://www.microsoftpsdemos.com site.

Solution Accelerators have high standards of code quality, and demonstrate how specific issues can be addressed; however they are not meant to be deployed ‘as is’ into a production environment as they do not have the functional richness or manageability of a product. Accelerators focus on a specific pain points or challenges in the LRG domain and provide a solution that addresses this challenge using our technology. The Accelerator can be quickly set up as a POC, allowing architects and IT Pros to get up to speed on the related concepts and technology, or to showcase capabilities to IT or Business Executives.

We would also strongly advise you to take a look at the CRM Solution Accelerators that add great value to the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 product.

Contoso City Portal Solution Accelerator (Version 1.1 released)

The Contoso City Portal is a MOSS 2007 and Dynamics CRM 4.0 solution accelerator for Local and Regional Government portals. MOSS 2007 provides a platform for external and authenticated internal web content management to provide information to both citizens and government employees. Additionally it shows how MOSS features such as blogs, Virtual Earth integration, collaboration, document management, personalisation and interactive web forms can benefit both citizens and Government employees. Dynamics CRM 4.0 is then utilised to manage the requests and process initiated through the web forms and provide a comprehensive case and relationship management solution.
