Restarting the installer

A few minutes ago I started the installation of the Contoso City Portal. After the first two steps, I realized I hadn't carefully choose the location I provided for the internet and intranet application. I wanted to change these settings, so I closed the installer and removed the web applications through SharePoint Central Administration. When I tried to start a fresh installation, I noticed the installer saved my steps somewhere somehow...

Can I remove the settings the installer saved so far? Or is there any way to restart the installer so I can start a fresh installation?

Thanks in advance!

Stefano already provided a solution for this matter in a previous discussion. I quote:

I have had a problem with the CSP Installer, while creating the SimpleCMS web on IIS; in order to recover it, I needed to launch manually the CSP.SimpleCMS.Installer.msi and, then, to modify the registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\CSP\InstallationProcessStep (from 7 to 8), in order to let the CSP Installer move forward to the next step.
